Clowning around

Jessika is a young woman I've known for years as a friend of my daughter. Among her many interests is becoming a clown. And she needed head shots.

Had never shot a clown before. Or, more accurately, not someone dressed up and in makeup to portray a clown. So it was time to break out the Alien Bees.

A funny shoot. Sorry, I can't help it.

Norfolk panoramas

I had become captivated with panoramas in the past year, yet hadn't really taken the time to shoot any since becoming pretty busy earlier in the year. With a rare weekend open, and a desire to shoot for myself, I indulged the opportunity.

This image is the Norfolk skyline, as seen from Hospital Point in Portsmouth.

This is the new light rail line, with the newly completed Wells Fargo tower in the background. I saw the juxtaposition of the old, closed restaurant with the gleaming new tower impossible to pass by.
